Facebook. Just about anyone who has bothered opening a web browser has at least some clue what Facebook is. If you don't know what Facebook is, well, just imagine having the ability to look at someone you know and casually read how their day went, how they slept, the fact their pet iguana ate their pet kitten, who they're involved with, what groups and organizations they're a part of, what they a 'fan' of, etc.
It's commonly considered social networking at its finest, and its making someone a butt load of money. Much to Tom's chagrin, the question "do you have Facebook?" is more commonplace than "do you have Myspace?". I think people tend to like Facebook because it's a little more secure than Myspace is when it comes to just idly stalking people. You usually have to know something about the person you're looking for, as opposed to MySpace that simply allows you to browse your neighborhood for the flavor of the month.
Many people consider Facebook to be more wholesome. Well, after trying to get the word out about my blog here, I got this lovely little Captcha; I've been giggling ever since.
